Potential for more stars

Even though I use professional software on my desktop something about this app appeals to me. I like the way the colorless oil works and the way some of the brushes blend nicely. Its a refreshingly simple way to draw or doodle. However, the interface is cumbersome, having to tap to bring the tools up is a nightmare. Either I end up with dots at the bottom or just result to zooming all the way out and tapping in gray sector. The app has potential, but it needs some cleanup. A different method to access tools, screen orientation that doesnt leave you short depending on how you have your iPad oriented, and really that is about it. If you start adding layers etc it becomes a not so simple drawing app anymore. I like what you have, it just needs to be setup slightly different.
